Overcoming. Is autism and bullying too much to handle?
Filmed in Bristol by 353 Studios, this short film deals with autism and bullying.
“Christopher is an adopted child who has Asperger Syndrome (an autism spectrum disorder), and both factors has made him a target for bullying. Steve, a boy that attends the same school, is cruel, and has decided to make Christopher’s life miserable. Will Christopher be able to handle the situation?”
The script was written by Álvaro Júlio, in Brazil, and the production directed by Wallace Moura, in Bristol. Most of the scenes were filmed in Virginia side, but some in Tennessee (Bristol and Blountville). Almost all the actors faced their first time in front of the cameras. Starring: Paul Letson, Howard Smith, Abijah Swiney, Ben Letson, Marsi Mullins and Braylon Colley. Plus 26 extras worked in the film.
